This is the ultimate bolt on turbo upgrade for all the oval port 1.6TDI CAY and 2.0TDI CFG CFF CFH CFJ on Golf mk6 platform based cars.

Garrett GTC1552vz hybrid turbocharger. 

It started as a GTC1549vz CR170 unit, it has been fully rebuilt, and upgraded with large 52mm 6+6 CNC cut performance billet compressor wheel.

It can produce 180-200bhp on the 1.6TDI CAY engines and 200-220bhp on the 2.0TDI CFG CFF CFH CFJ engines.

 

Max safe boost pressure is 1.8bar

 

3 or 4bar MAP sesnor and proper custom tune/remap is recommended for best results.

 

Please note: for engines like CR140/CR110 which are originally fitted with KKK turbos (such us CFH CFJ etc.), CR170 oil lines and boost damper will be required (can be selected as an option from a drop down list: genuine, used ones in good condition)

 

For all 1.6TDI these are mandatory!

 

IMPORTANT!

 

1.6TDI engines are fitted with 2 different turbos from factory either Garrett or KKK. The polarity on the Garrett turbo actuator is reversed therefore you must use the actuator from your standard turbo on the new GTC1552vz hybrid for it to work correctly! If your standard turbo is KKK than you use the actuator supplied with the turbo that we send!

 

If you know that you have Garrett turbo you can choose to order turbo without actuator and save £30 since you must use actuator from your old turbo anyways. (if this is unclear please contact us to discuss before ordering)
